It is a space centered on you, your emotions, your strength, and your transition, helping you slow down, feel supported, and truly connect with what this moment means for you.

Instead of focusing on traditional celebrations, this experience is about creating a safe, supportive, and loving space where you feel truly seen and cared for.

About spirituality

Despite the name, a Blessingway which is also called Mother Blessing is not a religious ceremony and not connected to any religion. Although it can include gentle spiritual elements if that feels meaningful and comfortable for you.

We have a conversation and talk about your story, your moment, and what you’re needing most as you approach birth. Together, we shape a ceremony that reflects your energy, your beliefs, where the ceremony may happen, who you would like to invite, and what kind of experience you want to feel and receive.

From there, we begin creating your Mother Blessing together. I guide the structure, suggest elements, and help you choose what resonates most with you. We talk about the space, the guests, the atmosphere, meaningful rituals, and simple ideas for food or gathering options.

I Take Care Of The Details With Your Guests

You don’t have to coordinate everyone. I support the communication with your invited guests, helping them understand how to participate with presence, intention, and care. Everything is organized in a way that reflects what you want to feel and receive.

On the day, I arrive ahead of time to prepare the space, set the atmosphere, and bring the symbolic elements needed for the ceremony. Your handmade flower crown is created with fresh flowers, and every detail is arranged so you do not need to manage anything.

Can the ceremony be personalized to fit my personality and preferences?

Yes, completely.
Every Blessingway is created with intention around the mother’s personality, comfort level, and desires for the experience.
Some mothers want something minimal and intimate with only a few people. Others prefer a more emotional and expressive gathering with rituals, music, and active guest participation.
The goal is not to follow a strict format. It is to create an experience that feels authentic, safe, and meaningful for you.

Who usually attends a Blessingway?

Most Blessingways are smaller and more intimate than traditional baby showers.
Many mothers invite close friends, family members, or women who make them feel safe and supported. Some ceremonies also include partners or children, depending on the mother’s preferences.
There are no strict rules. The most important thing is creating a space where you feel emotionally comfortable and supported.

Can I have a Blessingway even if you are not my doula?

Yes.
The Blessingway can be booked as a separate experience, even if I am not supporting your birth as your doula.
Some mothers choose only the ceremony, while others include it as part of their full doula support experience.

Where can the Blessingway happen?

The ceremony can happen in your home or in another location that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.
If needed, I can also help guide you with ideas and suggestions for creating the right atmosphere for the experience.

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner, the better.
Because I offer personalized support and work closely with each family, availability can become limited depending on the season and schedule.
Booking earlier also gives us more time to thoughtfully plan the experience together.
